Description
I’ve had so many requests that we are going to do one last tasting for the year. Like the previous two, we’re going to just have some fun with a Summer wine tasting. And it would be nice to see everyone again before it gets super busy.
Summer Wines
The honest truth is that so many people have air conditioning now that you can drink a Barossa red in the height of summer. But, the food we eat does tend to change. And no matter how cool your house is, prawns and Barossa Shiraz is not a match.
Blind Corner Chardonnay Aligote Margaret River 2017 – A delicious wine that takes the best of Margaret River and the best of White Burgundy and delivers that to your palate.
Tenuta Rossobruno Greco di Tufo DOCG 2016 – The chameleon. Serve it icy cold for a cleanser at the BBQ. Or let it warm to room temperature to see all the texture and complexity.
Swinging Bridge #003 Amber Field Blend Orange 2017 – Blended from everyone’s favourite aromatic grapes: Gris, Gewurz and Riesling. Made with extended skin contact and totally delicious. A meatier, savoury, earthy style of white that can tackle some serious food.
Brackenwood Gamay Pinot Noir Adelaide Hills 2017 – Perfect summer red. Light, aromatic and gorgeous. A slight chill on a hot day will only serve to make it even better.
Food To Match
ReWine will have just kicked into their summer menu and will offer a range that will be as tasty as our last visit.
No Need To Leave
ReWine is a fully functioning wine bar with plenty of great wine and lovely food. Once you are done tasting you can walk the five metres and sit down to enjoy the rest of your evening in comfort.
