Description
Join me for a casual tasting. Six Pinot Noir at Spencer and Co with complementary food.
Compare and contrast six Pinots
The distinctively different styles and regions will give you a great insight into the grape. We’ll look at some unmissable Australian Pinots with excellent examples from other countries including New Zealand, and Burgundy from France (of course!).
I don’t need to tell you Pinot Noir is the greatest grape variety on earth but there are 100s, nay, 1000s of Pinots Noir out there on shelves. What we are doing is offering you just the highlights. Not only will you taste six great examples, the information that you take away will make it much easier for you to know what you like, and be more confident in picking a Pinot you love in the future.

With Food
Because it makes a huge difference to how you perceive a wine. Some wines you can chug happily without food. But to get the real experience from great wine, a well-chosen food match can elevate the flavours of both to a new level.
At your new wine bar – Spencer and Co
Spencer and Co is the kind of place where you’ll be treated like family from the minute you walk in the door. The highlight for me is the selection of cheese, which is supported by an evolving wine list, cocktails and kitchen menu. This is a cool looking bar (and that is important) so close to the city.
Who should come?
Everyone who loves wine. This is wine tasting done right; an unpretentious and fun way to try new wine from exciting producers who you may not even know existed. You get to ‘road-test’ the wines in a real life situation; chatting with friends, sipping wine, and nibbling on food. It gives you a chance to get the wines real personality in the glass. And it is a great deal of fun.
Social atmosphere
Wine is about that shared experience and the interactions. Pairing great wine with great food guarantees you’ll make new friends for an afternoon at least.
Beat Hump Blues
Don’t spend Wednesday evening at home on the couch worried about the fact you still have to get through two more days of work. Get out and enjoy your freedom in the best way known to humanity; food, wine and company.
Can you think of a more fun way to spend your Wednesday afternoon than with like-minded people enjoying great wine and food at Spencer and Co?
