The palate of Alain Graillot Crozes Hermitage at the moment is lean with high tannins and umami tea leaf finish. This is a wine to decant or to cellar, it will improve over many, many years.
Alain Graillot is the benchmark for Crozes Hermitage. I have been enjoying wines from this estate for many years and one of the things I appreciate is they are always of an outstanding quality. This is one of my favourite wines of all time.
