A classic producer and negociant family that makes some of the best wines of the Rhone from North to South. The Guigal family made their fame on the back of the much sought-after single vineyard Cote Rotie wines. Their access to great fruit from the best appellations and vineyards means their range is formidable and even their humble Cotes du Rhone is magnificent.

100% Syrah, stainless steel ferments at high temp. 16 months in second use oak. Full, chocolate, mineral, earthy, tea leaf, meaty. 2004 was a classic vintage for the Northern Rhone and this is classic St Joseph. Drinking really well now.
