An enthralling drink, Christophe et Fils Vieille Vignes Chablis AC 2023 is everything a Chablis lover is looking for. There is floral, mineral, oyster shell, smoke and white peach. There is a generous body due to the intensity of fruit, near perfect balance and the finish is fine and long. A gorgeous wine. I’m more than happy to drink this if you don’t.

It is absolutely top form again in 2023, it has lovely cut and tang that sets it apart from the AC Chablis and it always has a little more depth and concentration too. This, as always, is superb, concentrated Chablis from Sébastien Christophe that is of 1er Cru intensity and complexity.”
Sebastien Christophe is a brilliant young winemaker well worth following. Domaine Christophe is a new estate founded with vines inherited by his Grandfather.
His eye for detail and precision in the vineyard and winery helps him craft nuanced and fine Chablis. Concentrated due to low yields with classic flavours, elegant palates, and nervy acids. Even the Petit Chablis tastes like it will improve with time in the bottle.
