A beautiful aperitivo with Piedmont heritage. Punt e Mes is a sweet red vermouth with bitters added to create an aromatic drink with sweetness up front and a cleansing bitter finish.
It can be drunk neat with a slice of orange or blood orange. Made into a long drink with soda. Or it can replace red vermouth in any classic cocktail.
A wine based alcoholic drink which is flavoured with botanticals and fortified. It can be red or white. Sweet or dry. Like anything wine, there are great examples and some pretty basic ones too. The top levels are as good as great wine.
