This is one of my favourite shows of all time. The guests each bring an amazing amount of knowledge and passion for what they do. They make me look good simply by being themselves.

Lousia Rose – The Barossa Cellar Louisa is head winemaker at Yalumba, Chair of The Barossa Cellar, and Grand Master of Barons of Barossa. The Barossa Cellar is an initiative taking the opportunity to preserve wines and vines of historical importance. Lousie tells us about the concept, the investment, the future, and the possibilities of this new and amazing initiative.

Angie Bradbury – Wine Victoria Angie is Chair of Wine Victoria. Angie outlines challenges that Victorian wine producers have faced in 2020. Angie and I also discuss equality in the wine industry.

Marco Tovazzi – MT Wines Italian born Marco explains his work at Hoddles Creek, how he started his label. And we discuss the differences and similarities of Sangiovese from Chianti and Heathcote.

Andrew Kelly – Small Batch Roasting Co. We learn about coffee terroir, growing coffee, buying coffee, and the subsistence life of the growers. Andrew loves wine too, so we compare the language used and selling of both wine and coffee.

The Wine Show

The wine show has been on Inner FM for 30 years. The main host was Kim West (aka Harry From Heidelberg) who looked after the show until his retirement in 2018. It was then that I, Phil, got the call up to become one of the hosts.
