Description
Charming from the first pour, Moss Wood Chardonnay reminded me of old school Meursault; Woody, vanilla, nutty, yellow fruits heading towards the exotic and a hint of red apple. The palate is something else, waxy grape and yellow fruits, honey, hazelnuts with a hint of vanilla and toasty oak. It is rich and succulent.
My palate says this wine is a brilliant drink right now. It is sealed under screwcap and very well balanced so it will certainly hold its charm for the mid to long-term too.
