Marrying into 5 hectare of pristine Cornas vineyards, Auguste Clape built a stunning legacy making traditional Cornas. 100% stems, wild yeasts, concrete fermenters and large, old oak barrels for aging. These wines are some of the truest terroir wines in the world.
100% Syrah, 100% stems, wild yeasts, concrete fermenters and large, old oak barrels for aging. This wine is earthy, dry, spicy, subtle, floral and herbal. It is dark, dense, lean with a good core of dark fruits on the firm, dry and granitic palate. This wine just needs a lot of time. It was open for about four hours and the last glass was the best. Classic Cornas.
