Description
Chanters Ridge is a small family-run vineyard at Tylden in south central Victoria. Planted exclusively with Pinot Noir, the Chanters Ridge vineyards occupy two hectares of rolling volcanic slopes at the heart of the Macedon Ranges. The vineyard was established in 1995, under the guidance of John Ellis from Hanging Rock Winery. The first half-hectare of vines were planted in 1996 and an additional 1.5 hectares were added in 1999.
A beautiful expression of Pinot’s cherry, rose petal and red berry fruits. Plenty of depth and nice structure and quite dry. A great fizzy and refreshing way to kick off the tasting. A great wine for starting a meal.
