Sourced from the powerful sub-region of Greenock, the Devote Shiraz is an opulent glass of wine. Sourced from a single vineyard that Y&P have full control over and with 11 vintages of experience they’ve got the nuances down. Prepare for a bigger style of Shiraz, complex, and moreish as is their house style.

It is a story about new beginnings; a young couple, with a young family, forging their own path within a wine region as first generation winegrowers. As you may expect, they are not steeped in (or weighed down by) tradition, so they are creating their own style. Lighter, earlier picked wines with personalities that build in the glass. Fascinating and engaging to drink.

Barossa Valley

One of the major wine regions or Australia. Known for making great Shiraz by any standard as well as Grenache, Mataro, Semillon and much more. There has been a lot of work finding the sub-regions that excel for each style and variety planted.

Shiraz/Syrah

A bit of a chameleon, Shiraz can change how it looks depending on terroir and/or wine maker influence. The Syrah based wines of Northern Rhone are dry and austere while the Shiraz of Barossa is rich and fleshy. A variety that lends itself to long aging but can be drunk at any time of its evolution.
