Description
Red fruits, almost beetroot, floral, currants. Pepper and dry spice and a hint of fresh ground coffee. The palate is rather soft and juicy with a clean finish. Therefore I’d serve this with a winter stew. Due to its age, I’d drink over the next 12 months. This is a great introduction to the variety Blatina.
This estate is merely continuing a long family tradition in winemaking, Vinogradi Nuic was established in 2004. In the small village of Crnopod, cultivating karst land and planting on 35ha. Nuic vineyards take advantage of a maritime influence from the Dalmatian coast, planted on southwestern and northern exposures and rocky red soils.
Blatina
A little known red grape grown mainly in the Herzegovina region.It makes soft wines with moderate alcohol tasting of spice, coffee and chocolate.
