Description

Marabino is from Buonivini in South Eastern Sicily. The grapes all come from their own vineyards which are grown according to biodynamic principles. The variation in aspect and soil types makes each Cru within their holdings distinctly different.

Noto is 100% Nero d’Avola from two old vineyards. Dark fruits, hints of prunes and spice. Meaty, earth, soot. The palate is juicy with nice understated acidity and tannin.

Nero d’Avola

Sicily’s best red grape. It is capable of getting very ripe, is very charming but lacks acidity. It is often blended with other varieties to balance out its exuberance.

Sicily

In a constant tussle with Puglia to win the title of largest volume produced each year, the wines of Sicily are as varied as its history. Delicate whites, full bodied reds and of course Marsala show the variation in climate and abilities of the various regions within the Island.
