Description
First Creek Botanica Pinot Grigio ferments in stainless steel at cool temperatures. This is to retain the abundant but delicate aromatics of the grape varietal. It is a simple wine, but enjoyably so. Stone fruits, cashew. Creamy texture with soft acid. Drink it now. Enjoy it with antipasto, cheese or charcuterie.

First Creek Wines is family-owned and operated. The Hunter Valley is home. Liz Silkman – Chief Winemaker and two time Hunter Winemaker of the year guides the team. First Creek emphasises careful fruit selection to make their wine. They use vineyards from the Hunter Valley, Hilltops, and Orange to achieve this. After that, rigorous attention to detail guides the grapes into delicious wine. Their Botanica range emphasises clean wines, from popular grapes made to drink immediately.
Pinot Gris/Grigio
Gris and Grigio are the same variety and both names mean grey in French and Italian respectively. Which is somewhat deceptive because the grapes can be almost blue when ripe. The great wines of Alsace and North-Eastern Italy often feature Pinot Grigio. It grows all over the world now too. AKA Grauburgunder in Germany.
