Domaine Roulot is an old family estate based in Meursault. Run by Jean-Marc Roulot who took over from his father in 1989. A stunning producer with a strong bent towards beautifully elegant, layered whites from outstanding Lieu-dit in Meursault, not all of which are of cru level. These wines are as graceful as any Meursault could be and really benefit for 10 years in bottle to show their best.

A somewhat icon white depite not being premier cru. “There was fairly heavy reduction and it’s clear that this needs to be racked and bottled, which Roulot said was imminent. Otherwise, the pure, intense and impressively voluminous flavors possess beautiful depth and a textured, powerful and long finish. As always, the class of these villages wine. Outstanding” Burghound
