Description

Domaine Roulot is an old family estate based in Meursault. Run by Jean-Marc Roulot who took over from his father in 1989. A stunning producer with a strong bent towards beautifully elegant, layered whites from outstanding Lieu-dit in Meursault, not all of which are of cru level. These wines are as graceful as any Meursault could be and really benefit for 10 years in bottle to show their best.

“Here the elegant nose is cool and intensely floral with background hints of citrus that are also reflected by the relatively concentrated, textured and naturally sweet and sappy flavors that positively brim with minerality that helps shape the finish on the balanced and wonderfully long finale. A delicate wine of finesse and understatement that delivers brilliant quality for a villages level wine.” Burghound
