Made with love and care near Portland in Western Victoria If these guys aren’t Australia’s best Riesling producers then they are a close second. The wines are consistently great and live for a very long time. A tight core of powerfully dense and ripe fruit is bound in a minerals and acid/phenolic structure. It is well worth tasting these wines even if you aren’t looking to create a cellar. One of my favourite Australian Riesling was a 94 from Frankland Estate in Western Australia (another of my all time best Riesling producers). This is another pristine example of the Estates wines.
