The fog hills in Piedmont North, East Italy is where you’ll find Barolo DOCG.

Made from 100% Nebbiolo aged for least 3 years (5 for Riserva). During that aging, at least 18 months has to be in wood.

Producing powerfully structured wine for long aging. This means big tannins and a strong acidity. Barolo is a savoury wine that offers flavours of cherries, roses, aniseed, and leather. As it ages you will get a silky mouthfeel and taste more truffle, tar and earth characters.

Famous villages include La Morra, Verduno, Castiglione, Montforte, Serralunga and Barolo. Awarded DOCG in 1980.
