Description

Round and rich this is a lovely entry level to quality Margaret River Chard. Stone fruits, grapes, melons and a creamy/malo note. The palate is viscous and mouth filling with some acid to tighten it all up a bit. Drink this over the next few years, food isn’t required but richer white meats will work.

Established in the 1980’s, the Credaro family was one of the first pioneering families of the Margaret River wine region albeit just to proved the family something to drink after work.
They now have 130 hectares, divided into 8 vineyard sites across the region and strive to make balanced and understated wines that offer great value.

Margaret River

Three hours South of Perth is this land of Cabernet and Chardonnay. Right on the ocean the climate allows the grapes to mature slowly on the vine. The wine are more powerful in the North and more elegant in the south. The best wines are world class and are priced to reflect this.

Chardonnay

The grape that you can plant anywhere, in any climate and do anything to and it will still taste like an OK wine. When people hit the sweet spot of site, climate, cropping and winemaking, Chardonnay becomes a magical wine that will age gracefully but charm you at any age. Chardonnays can range from cool climate lean and citrusy to warmer climate tropical and overt. Oak and lees can add flavouring as can malolactic fermentation.
