Description

The Celestial Ave team are committed to finding interesting wine varieties and styles within Australia that are approachable, enjoyable and great value.

Soft and plush fruits, red berries, spice, rose petals. The palate is dry and long with silky fruit and not much acid or tannin to speak of. Satisfying drinking that is almost too easy to indulge in.

Shiraz – Although it original made its fame in the dry, mean slopes of the Northern Rhone Valley, Syrah as it is called in France has been all over the world. It grows in almost any conditions and what’s more it excels in almost any conditions too. Shiraz can either be light, dry, tannic and savoury or rich, full and silky with an abundance of fruit. Either way there are excellent examples that be enjoyed your or at a venerable age.

King Valley – A picturesque region near Victoria’s snow fields that offers cooler climate wines. A strong Italian heritage in the area means there are a lot of Italian varieties grown.

Plush fruits. Plenty of flavour. Just a hint TOO drinkable. Very nice though.
