Description

From its original base in the Langhorne Creek, this Italian-centric producer has broadened their holdings to include a vineyard on Mt Lofty in the Adelaide Hills. This allows them to make both bold and robust wines along with delicate and aromatic styles. The wines are charming.

Light, fresh and pristine. Cherries, liquorice, plums, hung meats and rose petals. Moderately juicy with a nice bit of acid and tannin to keep it serious and savoury. Don’t age, just drink! Good fun with dumplings and even chili sauced homemade dim sims.

Langhorne Creek– The region that has done so much, for so many but never truly recognised for its efforts. Dry, hot and disease free, there are some lovely reds being made here or used to blend into and bolster bigger brand wines. Whites are just finding their feet too. There are a handful of excellent quality producers to watch.

Nebbiolo – Famously producing long lived red wines which are light of colour, but abundant in tannin, from Barolo, Barbaresco in Piedmont. This is the variety that defines the region. Typical flavours include: Tar, roses, anise, cherry, blackberry and truffle.
