There is a lot to be said for off dry wines. Especially if they are as aromatically complex and interesting as this one. Drink it on its own, with spicy foods or with aromatic dishes. It is beautiful as the acid structure means it finishes dry and clean. The drinkability of this wine is high.
Gewurztramier – Is a highly aromatic and textural variety. It is also one of those varieties that doesn’t play like the others. It has a very small picking window, going from perfect to over ripe in a matter of days. It is naturally low in acid and if you try to adjust it up you get a wine that just feels and tastes wrong. But when it all goes well…. ahhhh perfection.
